About Me
My name is Synthia Lawton and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I decided to go back to school to obtain my Master in Social Work degree in 2015 after spending several years doing Mental Health Services for several agencies in the local area. I started Alliance Family Counseling Group because I wanted to offer a different style and approach. I have extensive experience with trauma, attachment and worked with various diagnosis from schizophrenia, borderline personality, bi polar disorder to depression and have an eclectic style of counseling and have been trained and utilize but not limited to EMDR, CBT, psychodynamic therapy techniques.

Crisis stabilization services intent is to provide short term, intensive mental health care to individuals who are experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis. The primary goal is to address and stabilize mental health needs as early as possible and to link to appropriate providers for continuation of care.
